Is your vision loss affecting your independence, safety and mobility? If so, you might benefit from vision loss rehabilitation therapy.
To get started, speak to your ophthalmologist, optometrist or other health care professional. They understand your vision loss and can help decide whether, and when, rehabilitation therapy may be right for you.
Vision Loss Rehabilitation Saskatchewan requires a referral from your health care professional before we can begin working with you. Our secure online referral form allows them to quickly and securely provide us all the information we need to get started. Please note that we cannot accept self-referrals or walk-ins.
Once your health care professional makes the referral, we will review the information provided and contact you by phone within 10 business days to discuss your needs and goals, and work with you to develop a personalized rehabilitation plan.
Your rehabilitation plan may include a range of services depending on your needs and goals. Services may be delivered over a series of appointments in your home or community, your workplace, over the phone, online or at one of our Vision Loss Rehabilitation Saskatchewan centres located in Saskatoon and Regina.
